The project required the delivery of a previously developed scheme with a new project design team and new client investment.
Innov8 to deliver statutory CDM Co-ordinator duties including:
- The development and implementation of a design review with a focus on Health and Safety issues (pre-construction, construction and post construction.)
- Regular liaisons with the appointed principal contractor and design team to challenge potential hazards and work together for safe solutions.
- The co-ordination and management of hazard elimination exercises. Audited design documentation to ensure decisions can be supported if visited.
- The preparation of a project specific Pre-construction Information Pack.
- Review and monitor the Principal Contractors Construction Phase Plan to ensure project specific and proactive implementation.
- Regular liaisons with local residents to ensure minimum interruption during the construction phase when executing the traffic management system.
- Continuous liaisons with the appointed Principal Contractor.
- Unannounced site safety, health and welfare inspections and audit of site CDM documentation.
- Ongoing attendance at site safety and progress meetings.
- Ongoing preparation of documentation.
- Ongoing audits of sites and inspection of documentation.
- Ongoing representation at client meetings relating to HSE.
